How Will the I-395 Signature Bridge Affect the District?

The $800 million Signature Bridge project is rebuilding the I-395 overpass into a landmark structure with six illuminated arches, visible from the Port of Miami and Biscayne Bay.

Beneath it, a 30-acre public park called The Underdeck will create ground-level green space connecting the Design District and Wynwood to Museum Park and Downtown.

Is It a Good Place to Buy Real Estate?

It depends on what a buyer is looking for.

The district combines 25-year nightlife institutions, a $6 billion neighboring development in Miami Worldcenter, direct Metromover and Brightline access, and a wave of new residential towers.

It is one of the most connected and culturally active addresses in Downtown Miami.

It is not a quiet neighborhood — it suits buyers who want an urban, high-energy address, not a residential retreat.
