Andare Residences by Pininfarina is the first luxury condominium tower to rise directly above Las Olas Boulevard in nearly twenty years — and one of the few anywhere where Pininfarina shapes the building, the brand and the interiors together.
Pininfarina has spent more than nine decades refining a single idea: that a beautiful object is one where every line has a reason. The studio has drawn more than 1,300 automotive and mobility projects and over 650 architecture and product designs, and has collected more than seventy international design awards in the past decade alone.
At 521 East Las Olas Boulevard, that discipline becomes a 46-story tower. The silhouette borrows the soft, continuous curve of a hull or a fender rather than the hard stack of a typical Florida high-rise. Balconies wrap instead of interrupt. Glass runs floor to ceiling so the Atlantic reads as a horizon line, not a window. Even the unseen systems — air purification, acoustics, lighting temperature, circulation — were specified the way a cabin is specified: for how the person inside will actually feel.
Andare is Italian for “to go.” It is a fitting name for a building on Fort Lauderdale’s most walkable street, ten minutes from the beach and twenty from an international airport.

Pininfarina’s name sits on some of the most recognizable shapes of the twentieth century. Bringing that authorship to a residential tower is not a licensing exercise here — the studio’s hand is visible from the porte-cochere to the cabinetry.
Interiors carry imported Italian millwork and countertops designed in-house by Pininfarina, paired with Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances and Hansgrohe fixtures. Museum-quality artwork — a signature of Related Group’s condominium division — runs through the lobby and amenity levels. The result is a building that feels authored rather than assembled.

Related Group has delivered more than 100,000 condominium and apartment residences since 1979 and effectively wrote the playbook for South Florida’s design-led condominium. CFE Architects, four decades into high-rise and mixed-use work across the region, is architect of record. Architectural Alliance Landscape, based just south of the New River, handles the landscape — a firm whose partners live in the neighborhood they are planting.
Related broke ground in May 2025 with Beauchamp Construction building, and delivery is expected in 2027. More than half the tower was under contract by groundbreaking, and the top-floor penthouse traded at a price per square foot that set a Fort Lauderdale record.

Downstairs is the boulevard itself — galleries, boutiques, cafés and a dense run of Fort Lauderdale’s best-known kitchens, from Louie Bossi and Lobster Bar Sea Grille to Steak 954, Takato and Eddie V’s. A block away, Riverwalk follows both banks of the New River with shaded green space for a morning run or an evening walk.
The Broward Center for the Performing Arts sits across the water; the NSU Art Museum, with a collection of more than 7,000 contemporary works, is a few minutes’ walk. Two-, three- and four-bedroom residences range from 1,812 square feet to more than 4,320 square feet, plus a penthouse collection. The signature penthouse is a five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bath home of approximately 6,235 interior square feet with 745 square feet of terrace, a wine room, a private theater and two private elevators. Every residence has private elevator entry, a foyer, ten-foot living-area ceilings and a terrace.
What does a residence at Andare cost?
Pricing moves with each release and with remaining inventory, so I don’t publish a figure that goes stale. As a market reference point, the tower’s top-floor penthouse went under contract at a record Fort Lauderdale price per square foot.
How does the deposit schedule work?
The developer’s published schedule calls for 40% of the purchase price before closing, staged across three milestones — at contract signing, at groundbreaking and at top-off — with the balance due at closing. Because the tower broke ground in May 2025, a buyer entering now faces a compressed early schedule. Terms are subject to change; the purchase agreement controls.
When will Andare be completed?
Related Group broke ground in May 2025, and completion is expected in 2027. Construction timelines on pre-construction condominiums can move; I track the schedule and keep clients updated between milestones.
Can international buyers purchase at Andare?
Yes. Las Olas draws buyers from across the United States — New York, Chicago and the Northeast in particular — as well as from Europe and Latin America.
